Your Initial Appointment
Your first chiropractic visit will consist of a thorough history and examination to accurately diagnose your condition.
The confidential history allows your Chiropractor to assess your overall health status and gain important information regarding your current problem and any previous conditions.
If you are a good candidate for chiropractic care, a comprehensive examination will then follow.
What To Expect From Your Comprehensive Examination:
- Physical examination
- Range of motion
- Postural assessment
- Gonstead chiropractic assessment
- Instrument analysis
- Static palpation
- Motion palpation
Digital full spine chiropractic radiographs will then be taken at the clinic. Radiographic analysis forms an integral part of an accurate examination, diagnosis and treatment of your condition.
Treatment is given on the first visit with some information to help manage your condition.
Following your first visit and after thoroughly assessing the X-ray and examination findings, your Chiropractor will give you an explanation of the findings and discuss the conclusions reached. If you will benefit from Chiropractic care, your Chiropractor will then tailor specific chiropractic adjustments and health recommendations to aim to resolve your condition.
With a goal in place, your treatments and the road to recovery will begin. The purpose of these visits will be to try & correct your condition and to aim to get you on track to optimal health and well being.
